Planned Database Upgrade
The maintenance is now complete.
It seems I was a little eager and started things earlier than planned, due to a mix-up with timezones, sorry to have confused you all.
The good news is that the database upgrades are now complete, and we didn't see any noticeable impact in availability or performance.
The scheduled maintenance is now underway! We don't anticipate this having any impact on availability or performance.
We'll follow up with another update once the database upgrades are complete or if we hit any snags along the way.
Due to some other unforeseen commitments I missed this database upgrade window on Friday 27th. I've now rescheduled it for today, Mon, 30th September 2024, 16:00 UTC.
We will upgrade our database servers on Friday September 27th, 2024, between 09:00 UTC and 09:30 UTC to ensure their continued performance and security.
At Sorry™, we have a robust testing and QA process. These upgrades have been thoroughly tested and have successfully passed QA in both testing and staging environments. We do not anticipate any impact on Status Pages, the API, or the Management UI.
