Downtime for vital maintenance

Complete

The maintenance is now complete. Thanks for your patience.

As planned the service was offline for around 20 minutes, came back online quickly, and was behaving normally.

One unforeseen issue was the backlog of notifications and other automated background tasks, which took longer to clear than expected, however, now appears to be caught up and running normally again.

The backlog of notifications has now been almost cleared, so we're performing a few more final checks to ensure things have returned to normal.

Generally, things are looking good after the maintenance.

We do however have a slight backlog of notifications being sent while the system catches up from being offline. We've added some more servers to help work through the queue.

Underway

Our planned maintenance is now underway. In the next few minutes our Management UI, API and Status Pages will go into maintenance mode for roughly 30 minutes.

We hope to get things back online and running as normal as soon as possible, and we'll keep you posted on our progress.

Scheduled

We'll be performing some important maintenance to our systems on Saturday October 15th at 10:00 UTC. During this time all of our services will be offline for around 20 to 30 minutes.

While we're offline a maintenance page will be displayed in place of our Management UI, API and customer Status Pages.

We usually aim to avoid downtime during maintenance, but on this occasion, it's regretfully unavoidable.

We have, however, carefully chosen this date and time as it's when we see the lowest amount of traffic, and it doesn't conflict with our own customers' maintenance windows.

If you have any questions about our plans, please do let us know.
