The updates are now live on all accounts and as planned didn't cause any interruptions to the service. A blog post announcing the feature will follow in the next day or so.
Around midday we will be adding the ability for customers to include social profile links on their status pages. We don't anticipate any downtime during the update but thought it polite to keep you informed.
