Improved Notification Delivery Monitoring
Following on from the recent improvements we made to the notifications queue, we have today started recording additional metrics to give us much better insight into the timing of notifications as they work their way through our system.
These new metrics will be used to more accurately monitor actual delivery times and raise the alarm if things begin to drift away from the norm.
These new metrics are more detailed than our previous setup, so we should be able to detect issues more effectively when they first arise.
